🌍 OUTSTANDING External International Cambridge Results from Keurbosch School Students
Keurbosch School, which proudly follows the international Cambridge Curriculum, has incubated some of the most impressive academic achievements in recent years.
The latest IGCSE and AS Level external Cambridge exam results have been released — and they’re nothing short of exceptional.
Cejay Spinelli, a Grade 12 student, achieved:
- 95% in AS Level Mathematics
- 90% in AS Level Computer Science
- Received a High Achiever Award for AS English
This places him in the top global bracket of Cambridge achievers.
Principal and Academic Director Michiel Coetzee and student Cejay Spinelli were invited to a prestigious Awards Ceremony held in Cape Town on 18 May.
Only 34 Cambridge schools in South Africa were invited, along with just 60 learners from the June 2022 exam series — including IGCSE, AS, and A Levels.
Zara Osman, Keurbosch School’s Head Girl, also achieved remarkable results:
- 91% in IGCSE English First Language
- 91% in IGCSE Environmental Management
These results are a testament to Keurbosch School’s strong academic ethos. Within a very short time, the school has fostered a vibrant and achievement-driven academic environment, consistently delivering top-tier international exam outcomes.
Keurbosch launched its first junior classes in 2023. According to Michiel Coetzee, many students entering in Grade 8 arrive behind academically. This led to the decision to expand into junior schooling to provide Cambridge-quality education from an early age.
“Our Excellence Programme is starting to bear fruit,” said Coetzee. And the evidence is clear.
